Powerlet

Founded in 2001, Powerlet has become the global manufacturing and distribution leader for ruggedized direct-fit power outlets, electrical interconnect cables and specialty electronic devices used in the powersport industry.

After years of designing electrical components to enhance his motorcycle enjoyment, Powerlet's founder recognized the lack of "off-the-shelf" wiring products for the powersport industry. Soon after this revelation, three old friends reunited and left their high paying cushy corporate jobs to create a product line not found elsewhere in the world. Each partner brought a unique skill-set and their checkbook. In 2003, Powerlet won the SBA's (MI-SBTDC) "Best Small Business of The Year" award. Powerlet now has dealer and distribution outlets throughout the USA, UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia. OEM customers include Polaris Industries, Indian Motorcycles, KTM North America, and Big Dog Motorcycles.

Headquartered in Warren, Michigan, Powerlet is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coliant Corporation.
